my good friend Lee recently published a book and i am pleased to say that it is really, truly lovely. a composite of over one hundred hand-lettered and illustrated quotes, it reads and feels like something that was born of my own two hands — a feeling, i am positive, that is shared by every reader who thumbs through it, as it is designed to resemble a worn, loved sketchbook. i look through the pages and am instantly consumed by nostalgia, filled with glee, and break into millions of tiny smiles.
here are a few photos of my favorite pages and the pretty postcards i received with the book. i think you are supposed to write letters on the backs and mail them to people, but i’ll just clutch them to myself instead.
